Need a Logo, Business Cards or Website Design?
If you’re on the hunt for a new logo, some business cards or website design, look no further than Sprowt. This Melbourne-based graphic design company, created by Amber Stapff, has worked with some big brands – and even created business cards for The Life Creative (so they come with my personal seal of approval).
You can get a glimpse into Sprowt’s portfolio by clicking here, but let me tell you a bit more about Amber and her work.
Of the nine years she’s been a graphic designer, four have been working for herself.
“I took the brave move to do it on my own (in 2010), took a leap of faith, quit my job and have never looked back. I still pinch myself some days; not many people get to do what they love every day. I never even feel like I am working”.
She worked with Sydney Opera on the internal event graphics for both Carmen and Madame Butterfly.
“It is a huge event on the water’s edge on the Sydney Harbour and involves months of preparation, a few trips to Sydney and lots of late nights. To know my work is being viewed by thousands of people who attend (plus a few celebrities) is very rewarding”.
She is a one-woman show, but calls on help from time to time.
“I do often have a few designers on hand if I need back-up or a hand with workflow. This enables me to keep my customer service my number one priority. The benefits of being my own boss are great and definitely outweigh any challenges that come with running your own business”.
She also has a keen eye for interiors (a girl after my own heart).
“Interior design and decorating my home is something I am also passionate about and am a sucker for shows like House Rules & The Block. I am a little addicted to Candles”.

“I build quality relationships with my clients to deliver design solutions beyond their expectations. My success is very much driven by supplying a very high quality of work to everyone, big or small.”
